Phil Fountain is a senior advisor with Empower Texans. He has first-hand experience involving each chamber of the U.S. Congress and Texas Legislature, as well as state and federal political campaigns.

He provides consultation on policy, communications and outreach strategies. Phil earned a bachelor of public administration, with a history minor, from Texas State University – San Marcos (formerly Southwest Texas State University), where he was active with Pi Sigma Alpha (The National Political Science Honor Society) and the College Republicans.

While not born in the Lone Star State, Phil got here as fast as he could. Phil has made Central Texas his home for the past decade, and was named an “Honorary Texan” by Gov. Rick Perry in 2008.

Additionally, Phil is a U.S. Air Force and Iraq War Veteran.
