Proposition 2 on Texas' Nov. 3 constitutional amendment election requires that a home be appraised as a home, and not whatever else it could be. While it doesn't solve all of our property tax problems, it does provide taxpayers with a little more, much needed, protection.

Too often, it's near-impossible to find out information about the upcoming election amendments besides the one paragraph required on the ballot itself. Thanks for explaining this, and Prop 4, and please explain how all these amendments will affect Texans so we can make informed decisions and vote wisely... and fiscally conservative!

There is a homeowners' group who just sent me information saying that the legislature is going to use Prop 2 to create a statewide property tax. What's the truth?
Please cover ALL the amendments
