We’re Number 1 Through 5! And #1 and #1…

According to Forbes Magazine, the top 5 places to live in terms of looking for job are all in Texas. According to a statement from Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst, the top big-cities are in order: Austin, Houston, San Antonio, Ft. Worth and Dallas.

Forbes also ranked McCallen the best mid-size city in the U.S. and Odessa the top small-city nationwide.

And yet, today, the Texas Senate went against the wishes of thousands and thousands of Texas to accept federal Unemployment Insurance funds that will obligate us to higher taxes and more job-killing mandates. Guess they don’t want the top rankings to last…
