Keffer’s Return

Texas taxpayers are getting an early Christmas present. Bill Keffer is running in House District 107.

If his name is familiar, it’s because he was the stand-out conservative in the Texas Legislature fighting against new business taxes, and working on behalf of true tax relief and other conservative causes. He was a casualty of the Dallas County election massacre of November 2006.

He is a committed conservative and very popular in the Lake Highlands district he ably represented.

The race will be a rematch with liberal Allen Vaught. (Vaught, by the way, scored a miserable 23% on the TFR Index – meaning he voted against taxpayers 77 percent of the time!)
